Now that 2014 is out the door this only calls for a quick recap on the coolest stuff that happened to me in the past 12 months. Rewinding the tape now, there’s just one thing that sticks to my mind as a fly on honey – MEDS.
Yes, MEDS. What’s that you ask? Only the best thing that happened to Dublin last summer, me as well. MEDS – Meeting of Design Students. It happens every year, and always in a different country. It’s organized entirely by students and for any form of design students.
In 2014 Dublin was THE PLACE!!! 2 weeks, 14 different workshops and me. I am greatly thankful to Alexandra Dimitrova and the rest of the organizers for inviting me to be part of the whole experience by tutoring a small bit of one of the Photography workshops alongside some crazy talented people.
My bit was about light painting and the amazing artworks you can create with it on a very tight budget. The group was great and they did wonders during those two days my workshop took part. It was such a privilege to be able to work with all those cool people and I want to give a big THANK YOU to all of them, it was an absolute pleasure and great fun.
Here are some of the pieces that made to the exhibition at the end of the two weeks.
